Chorka Tex is next to skin filament thread made from high quality polyester filament by a special process to give a textured surface. It’s voluminous character makes it soft and ideal to use in looper for overlooking, serging and cover seaming. Chorka Tex delivers the best seam performance and aesthetics to use in T-shirts, fleece goods, undergarments, under thread on multi-needle machines, over seaming and cover seaming for hosiery and undergarments.

Physical properties: Shrinkage at 150°C <1%, melt at 250°C – 260°C & moisture regain 0.4%.

Chemical properties: Resistance to most of mineral acid & weak alkali but less resistance to strong alkali. Also, unaffected by mildew & rot.
